We like hateshort shorts.
No need for aerodynamics

Photography by James Wyatt

Keep it casual
Fed up of skimpy clothing and limited storage space, we've created a basketball-style short with the practicality of a hiking short; breathable, lightweight, versatile, and, most importantly, we feel like ourselves wearing them.
Inseam for days,
Comfort forever.

Express yourself
Wear whatever makes you feel good. These shorts are for people who already usually prefer a relaxed and baggy fit. We're not trying to persuade anyone or tell them what's right. It's personal preference. If you know, you know.
Tested ๐
- Ultra-Trail Snowdonia by UTMB 100K/6500m
- TEC Lulworth Cove 50K/2000m, England
- TEC Snowdonia 50K/2700m, Wales
- North Downs Way 50K, England x2
- Grizedale Trail 26M, England
6+ months in the making. 1,000+ miles covered in testing.
2° days to 33° days. Rain and snow. Uphill and downhill.

Build ๐งฑ
There is no inner liner. Wear your usual underwear and get after it.
Afterwards, hang the shorts to air out and you're good to go the next day.
Pockets 2x Front - Zipped 4x Back - Open-top mesh sleeves 1x Back - Zipped (Phone)

Material ๐ฉณ
Rice-sized eyelet mesh body to embrace the breeze and put an end to a swampy downstairs.
Nylon rear upper panel & pocket to help keep a phone stable when running, and to offer some level of water resistance and splash-proofing.

Sizing ๐
Two separate lengths: 19" or 20".
Two separate waists: 30-33" (M) or 33-36 (L)".
We hope to do 18", 20" and 22" lengths soon.
→ Model is 5'10" wearing 20M

All-day buffet ๐ฅช
Free up space. On long days, you're less likely to eat regularly enough if most of your food stays in the back of your pack. Stash your phone, keys, and gels in the shorts. Then, move your food to the front of your pack and eeeat!

Casual๐ถ๐ผ
Do whatever. You don't have to wear lycra to ride your bike. You don't even need to use these shorts for running. Climb a tree, lie in some grass.

Social ๐๐ผ
We're keeping things rather light-hearted and silly on socials. The aim is to inspire and encourage the average, everyday
person to just show up for their daily activity. It doesn't have to be so serious!
